A Day Without Hravity

I woke up to the pandemonium of a derailing railroad. I suddenly leaped off from my bed and careened into the wall, then falling down upon the floor. To my surprise I wasn’t even bruised, somehow, I felt a gentle sensation of weightlessness. I realized some otherworldly superpower had fine tuned gravity to there needs. Maybe they were Martians, like in the book War of the Worlds, who couldn’t take earth’s gravity. My wind wandered who would need to tune down gravity, a universal force.

As I thought about the wonders of a gravity, a force that pulls objects towards each other, I decided to do something. I decided to venture to the park. The fun part was walking, I could jump as high as a I wanted to(almost) and when I fell I was not hurt. When I reached the park, threw sand every where, coating the tar nearby in a coat of gray haze. Life was fun that day, though I had the constant worry of an alien attack.

Suddenly, a white flash of light appeared, and I was onboard a alien vessel. Their leader spoke to me in a gentle clam voice, he told me that they were a peaceful species, and there only wish was to observe how we react to sudden changes in climate. His soft voice reassured me everything was alright.

I woke up in bed, remembering about this strange incident. I quickly wrote it down in this journal.
